It started with a jar nobody could vouch for
Buying honey used to mean trusting a label and hoping for the best. That gap is the reason this shop exists.
Walk through any market and you will find a dozen jars that look identical. Same golden colour, same confident label, wildly different contents. Ask where it came from and the answer gets vague — a district, maybe, or a name nobody can check.
We started because that answer was not good enough for our own families. If we could not say exactly where something came from and who handled it, we did not want to sell it. That is a slower way to build a catalogue, and it means we say no to a great deal of cheap stock.
It also means that when a customer asks us a hard question about a product, someone here can actually answer it.
