Pre-Order

Product pages show their availability. Where a product is marked “Available on Pre-order”, adding it to your cart and checking out places the pre-order — the process is exactly the same as an ordinary order.

If you are unsure whether an item is in stock or on pre-order, call us before ordering and we will check.

You can pay online at checkout, or choose cash on delivery and pay when the product actually reaches you.

Where you pay online, the amount is taken at checkout and holds your place in the queue. If we cannot fulfil the pre-order, that amount is refunded in full.

The price you pay is the price shown when you placed the pre-order, even if the product costs more by the time the batch arrives.

Pre-order timing depends on the producer and the season, so any date we give you is an estimate rather than a promise.

We contact you when the stock arrives and confirm delivery, exactly as we would for a normal order.

If you need something by a specific date, tell us before pre-ordering — we would rather say it is not possible than miss it.

Harvests fail, batches slip, and suppliers occasionally cannot deliver at all. When that happens we tell you as soon as we know, rather than leaving the order sitting open.

You then choose: keep waiting for the next batch, swap the pre-order for something else, or cancel it for a full refund.

A pre-order can be cancelled at any time before it is dispatched — including during the wait for stock. Call us with your order number.

Where it was paid online, the full amount is refunded under the Refund Policy. Where it was cash on delivery, nothing was charged, so there is nothing to return.

Once a pre-order has been dispatched it is treated like any other delivery: the Happy Return and Exchange rules apply from that point.
